The Fire Chief plans, organizes, directs, and manages all fire suppression, fire prevention, and emergency services for the City of Lincolnton Prior to being named the Fire Chief, Ryan Heavner has served numerous positions at Lincolnton Fire Department. From starting out as a Firefighter to working up the ranks as an Engineer, to Captain, and onto promoting to an Assistant Fire Chief.

 Asst Chief Smith

Deputy Fire Chief Brent Smith 

The Deputy Fire chief preforms administrative, suppression, inspections, and public safety activities including serving in the absence of the Fire Chief. 
Before being promoted to Assistant Fire Chief, Brent Smith started at Lincolnton as a Firefighter and was promoted to Engineer, and Captain. 

Op Chief Reynolds

Assistant Chief Rusty Reynolds 

The Assistant Fire Chief participates with the Fire Chief in the administration of daily operations of the department and work involving suppression and rescue operations, and public safety activities including fire ground command, coordination of departmental training, and serving in the absence of the Deputy Fire Chief. 
Prior to being promoted as the Assistant Chief, Rusty Reynolds begun his career at Lincolnton as a Firefighter, and obtained promotions to the rank of Engineer, and Captain.

Senior Administrative Support Assistant Julie McIntyre 

The Senior administrative Support Assistant serves as the primary clerical and administrative support to the Fire Chief. And serves as a support role to the fire department, and also the administrative liaison with operating line and staff departments.
